Exam Delayed!!!

Statement from the Vice Chancellor of UUM

UUM Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak said a new date for the exam is on 21 November 2010 to 13 December 2010. "We made the decision after taking into account the advice of the National Security Council (NSC) and National Flood Operations Centre," he said in a statement here today . He said the postponement of the examination because it is the main road that connects with the Alor Setar UUM involving North-South Highway was closed and at the same time the Sultan Abdul Halim Airport was also closed because of flooding.

Change of examination date

21 November 2010 to 13 December 2010 (Amendment of the date of the examination on the 8th to 15 November 2010 are shifted to the 4th until December 13, 2010) All students and lecturers are asked to print the exam timetable slip on their portals after amendment .

Woaaaaaa.....

Padahal baru kemarin aku meng"koar-koarkan" pasal exam yang sudah di depan mata. Nah, kabar yang menggemparkan semua students di UUM tiba-tiba saja datang.

Tidak lama kemudian, terdengar kabar burung tentang demonstrasi yang dilakukan oleh international students UUM (gak pasti bener apa gak, tapi ini merujuk pada salah satu Update Status temanku).

Wajar saja para students demo..Kenapa tidak???

Diperkirakan sekitar 80% students sudah membeli tiket Balik Kampung ke Negara masing-masing (dengan tanggal kepulangan 1-5 Desember)..*gimana gak HEBOH mereka...masing masing mereka sudah keluar duit ribuan ringgit untuk beli tiket pulang...(termasuk aku!!!)

Kebetulan aku sudah beli tiket pulang ke Padang tanggal 5 Desember..nah gara-gara ada exam Managerial Math tanggal 9 Desember jadi gagal pulang. Terpaksa deh Memperbaharui Tiket dulu..

Untung aja ada ANNOUNCEMENTS seperti ini......

1) Compensation transport tickets

Application letter sent from UUM Chancellery of the Ministry of Transport through KPTM to seek relief for students. If this letter is not approved, the student representatives, we will try to get the student voice.

2) ADHOC - The special committee established disaster response plans

* Practical Issues (led by Hafiza - 0129496887)-The number of lab* Food Supplies (led by Raynold - 0194514891), price monitoring, adequate or not* Health services (led by Hamyddin-0176669987)* Press and publicity (led by Amalia - 0134150458)* Tickets Transportation (led by Akbal - 0175101534 (Domestic) and Hani - 0175158154 (International))-The list of students who have purchased tickets and ticket-delayed transportation applications take students out of the UUM* Security properties (headed by Naim - 0134659530)* Infrastructure facilities-electricity, water etc (led by Rodzi - 0125677880)

-Any problem can communicate directly with the ad hoc on-adhoc.

-Please help partners to make a complaint to us in the event of a drastic change in food prices.

-Students are advised not to exceed the Changlun out for the sake of self.

5) Volunteers flood victims

Some DPP has run a volunteer. Please contact the respective DPP to know more about this

The collection will be carried out by the MPP in the near future. Please cooperate.
